Strong & Grounded is a full-day, in-person women's health and hormones retreat happening right here in Edmonton. It's not a conference. It's not a workout class. It's an immersive, education-first experience designed to give you the knowledge, the tools, and the community you've been craving.

You'll discover what body recomposition and strength training really look like for women in their 35s, 40s, 50s, and beyond. And you'll do all of this surrounded by other women who are navigating the same season of life.

Why We Created This Day

When Jenn came to Edmonton in August 2024, 140 women filled the room and 50 more were on the waitlist. That wasn't just a successful event. That was a signal. Edmonton women are hungry for real, practical, empowering health education, and they deserve more than a 60-minute talk.

So Jenn and Mary decided to build something bigger. Something that would give women an entire day to slow down, learn deeply, move their bodies, nourish themselves, and connect with a community that gets it. Strong & Grounded is that day.

Jenn Pike is a Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist, Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Medical Exercise Specialist, bestselling author, yoga and Pilates certified instructor, with more courses and designations than we can even list.

With nearly 30 years of experience, she's coached thousands of women globally through her revolutionary programs including Synced and IGNITE, and has reached countless more through The Simplicity Sessions podcast, her YouTube channel, and beyond. Jenn has built an entire body of work around one mission: helping women understand the wisdom their bodies hold.

She's a master decoder of health symptoms, and her gift is taking what feels confusing, overwhelming, or dismissible and making it crystal clear. When you learn from Jenn, you don't just get information. You get answers that finally make sense.

Mary Darling is a wellness coach, speaker, and founder of Fulcrum Lifestyle, with 15 years in executive leadership and more than a decade in health and fitness coaching.

She's an instructor inside Jenn's Synced Membership, creator of The Confident Body Project, and someone who genuinely understands both high performance and the hidden cost of running on empty. Mary works with capable, driven women who are successful on the outside but quietly exhausted on the inside, helping them rebuild energy, strength, and confidence through sustainable shifts that actually fit into real life.

She bridges science-backed wellness with real daily implementation, and her ability to help women move from knowing what to do to finally doing it consistently is what makes her unforgettable.

This isn't the watered-down version you've seen online. Jenn's going to walk you through the full picture of perimenopause, what it actually is, how long it lasts, and why your symptoms make complete sense when you understand what your hormones are doing. You'll leave this session knowing how to advocate for yourself with your healthcare provider and how to start supporting your hormonal health in real, daily ways.

Thyroid & Adrenal Health: The Missing Piece

Mary will also be leading her own 45-minute session called Five-Minute Motivation: Micro Habits vs. Micro Excuses. Movement Is Woven Into the Entire Day

You're going to learn a lot, and your body's going to be part of that learning. The day opens with a light, bodyweight movement session led by Jenn to set the tone and get you into your body from the start. Movement and embodiment are threaded throughout the sessions, and you'll close the day with the Ground & Glow Meditation Experience, a guided meditation designed to help you anchor everything you've learned and carry it home with you.

You don't need to be a fitness person for this. You just need to be willing to show up and be present.

FAQs

What Is The Venue Address for this event?

Strong & Grounded will be held at the Evario Events Centre, 950 Parsons Rd SW, Edmonton, AB T6X 0J4 in Edmonton, a stunning modern ballroom space with a private lobby area for lunch, a marketplace, and everything you'd expect from a beautifully curated day. There's free on-site parking, preferred hotel rates available for out-of-town guests, and a space that genuinely matches the calibre of this experience.

Do I need any special equipment or fitness experience? Not at all. The morning movement session is bodyweight only and accessible for all fitness levels. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in and bring a water bottle and a notebook.

Is food really included? Yes! You'll enjoy a morning nourishment break, a build-your-own bowl lunch, and an afternoon fuel break all included in your ticket. Dietary needs will be accommodated. Please note this in your registration.

Where do I park? Free on-site parking is available at the Evario Events Centre.

I'm travelling from out of town. Is there somewhere to stay? Preferred hotel rates will be available for guests travelling to Edmonton for the event. Details will be shared upon registration.

What should I bring? Comfortable clothing suitable for light movement, a water bottle, a notebook, and an open mind. Come ready to learn, move, and connect.

Will there be a chance to ask questions? Yes, during our Q&A periods. The day is designed to be interactive and connection-focused. There will be space built into the sessions for questions and conversation.

Is this event right for me if I'm not yet in perimenopause? Absolutely. If you're 35 or older, this education is relevant now. The women who feel most prepared for perimenopause are the ones who started learning early. You don't need to be in the thick of it to benefit from understanding what's coming and how to support your body proactively.

What if I'm already in menopause? This day is for you too. The hormonal shifts, thyroid and adrenal conversations, and body recomposition content are just as relevant post-menopause. Many of the women in the room will be at various stages of their hormonal journey and you'll belong here no matter where you are.
